Imperial Buzz Jamaica - Mobile Devices & Accessories

1. General Terms of Service

Imperial Buzz Jamaica ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") provides mobile devices, smartphones, and accessories ("Products") through our website at www.imperialbuzzja.com, in-store locations, and via any other sales channels operated by Imperial Buzz Jamaica.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through our website, in-store, telephone orders, and any other sales channel. By making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Company Reservation of Rights: Imperial Buzz Jamaica reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our website and services constitutes your acceptance of any changes we make. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.

2. Product Liability & Warranty Disclaimer

2.1 Manufacturer's Warranty

All new smartphones and devices sold by Imperial Buzz Jamaica come with the manufacturer's warranty. The specific terms, coverage duration, and conditions of the manufacturer's warranty are determined solely by the device manufacturer (Apple, Samsung, etc.) and are not the responsibility of Imperial Buzz Jamaica.

For manufacturer warranty claims and support, customers must contact the device manufacturer directly. Imperial Buzz Jamaica acts as an authorized retailer and does not provide direct manufacturer warranty claims.

2.2 Imperial Buzz In-House Warranty

For pre-owned devices, Imperial Buzz Jamaica provides an in-house warranty covering manufacturing defects for a limited period. Specific warranty duration and coverage are communicated at the point of sale.

Warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in hardware
  • Functional issues with the device
  • Software malfunctions related to the device

Warranty does NOT cover:

  • Physical damage from drops, water damage, or accidents
  • Wear and tear from normal use
  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents)
  • User damage or modification of the device
  • Loss or theft
  • Devices damaged by third-party repairs

3. Returns & Refunds Policy

At Imperial Buzz Jamaica, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your device or accessory, we offer returns and refunds under the following conditions:

📌 30-Day Return Window: All products may be returned within 30 calendar days of purchase for a full refund or exchange, provided they meet our return eligibility criteria.

4. Return Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a return and refund, the following conditions must be met:

4.1 Device Condition

  • Device must be in original or near-original condition
  • No significant physical damage (cracks, water damage, severe scratches)
  • All original accessories and packaging must be included
  • Device must be fully functional
  • Must pass inspection by Imperial Buzz Jamaica staff

4.2 Documentation Requirements

  • Original receipt or proof of purchase (email confirmation acceptable)
  • Valid photo identification (required in-store)
  • Original box and all included materials
  • All accessories provided with the device

4.3 Exclusions from Returns

The following items are NOT returnable:

  • Devices with signs of physical damage or water damage
  • Devices showing evidence of user modification or repair
  • Items purchased over 30 days ago
  • Screen protectors, cases, and protective accessories (non-returnable once applied)
  • Clearance or final-sale items (marked as such at point of sale)
  • Devices with activation locks or security locks enabled
  • Items returned without original packaging or accessories

5. Return Process & Procedures

5.1 In-Store Returns

  1. Visit Imperial Buzz Jamaica location with your device and original receipt
  2. Present valid photo identification
  3. Device will be inspected by staff for condition and functionality
  4. If approved, refund will be processed immediately or exchanged for another device
  5. Refund will be credited to original payment method within 3-5 business days

5.2 Online Returns (Future Implementation)

Imperial Buzz Jamaica is developing an online return process. Customers who purchased online will be able to initiate returns through our website and arrange shipping. Details will be provided when this service launches.

5.3 Inspection Process

Upon return, our staff will inspect the device for physical damage, proper functionality, display condition, battery health, speaker/microphone functionality, and buttons/ports operability.

6. Damaged Products in Transit

If you receive a product that is damaged during shipping, please follow these steps immediately:

6.1 Damage Documentation

  1. Document the damage with clear photographs (showing the item and packaging)
  2. Do not open or use the damaged device
  3. Keep the original packaging and all materials
  4. Contact Imperial Buzz Jamaica within 24 hours of delivery

6.2 Claims Process

Damaged items are the responsibility of the shipping carrier. Imperial Buzz Jamaica will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf and either replace the item or issue a full refund once the carrier approves the claim.

6.3 Timeline

Damage claims typically take 5-10 business days to process. You will be kept informed throughout the process.

7. Warranty Policy

7.1 Coverage Period

Pre-owned devices come with Imperial Buzz Jamaica's in-house warranty for a specified period (communicated at point of sale). New devices are covered by manufacturer warranty.

7.2 What Warranty Covers

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Hardware failures not caused by physical damage
  • Software malfunctions related to device defects
  • Battery performance issues

7.3 What Warranty Does NOT Cover

  • Physical damage (drops, impacts, water damage)
  • Intentional or negligent damage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from third-party repairs
  • Cosmetic damage
  • Loss or theft

7.4 Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim, contact Imperial Buzz Jamaica with your original receipt, description of the issue, device serial number, and photos of any visible damage if applicable.

8. Payment Methods & Security

8.1 Accepted Payment Methods

In-Store: Cash (valid photo identification required), Credit cards, Debit cards, Mobile payment services

Online: Credit and debit cards, Bank transfers, Electronic payment systems (Digicel Money, etc.)

8.2 Payment Security

All payment transactions are processed securely using industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS). Your payment information is never stored on our servers and is processed by PCI-compliant payment processors.

8.3 Security Notice

While we implement comprehensive security measures, no online transmission is completely secure. We advise caution when submitting sensitive information online.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: Imperial Buzz Jamaica shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of our products, website, or services shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.

Products are provided "as-is" except for express warranties specifically stated in writing. Imperial Buzz Jamaica disclaims all other warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

10. Dispute Resolution & Legal Jurisdiction

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jamaica, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

10.2 Jurisdiction

Any legal disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions, your use of our website, or purchases from Imperial Buzz Jamaica shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.

10.3 Dispute Resolution Process

Before initiating legal action, customers and Imperial Buzz Jamaica agree to attempt to resolve disputes through direct negotiation, good faith discussion, and if needed, escalation to management.
